In the Toddlers Unit we cater for all aspects of your child’s development, intellectual growth, physical skills, language ability, creativity, social skills and emotional well-being.
Learn & Play
The Toddlers Unit provides the children with all basic types of play i.e. sand, water, art area and imaginative area.
All daily planned activities are displayed on the notice board. During daily planned activities the children will be encouraged to experiment with a variety of materials and resources i.e. paints, playdough, clay, water, sand etc.
The children will be encouraged to practice their physical skills and will have plenty of opportunity for energetic play.
Outdoor play is enhanced with the large play area which accommodates this age groups’ need to explore, investigate and run about!
Quiet Times
The quiet room is an uncarpeted room adjoining the main playroom and allows the children to enjoy a range of quieter activities such as looking at books, listening to stories and experimenting with jigsaws.
For those children wishing an afternoon nap the quiet room is used as a sleep room and the children are provided with sleep mats and blankets.
